‘’Cedric Shondell Bellamy” (Born April 26, 1984), is known professionally as ‘’Legacy City.’’ He is an African-American rapper, songwriter, poet, producer, activist, radio and television personality, military veteran and CEO of the mass media company, Streetligion Production LLC and Streetligion Nation Radio . Legacy City is an internationally known artist, with tours and performances throughout Europe. Legacy City has also opened for internationally known artists such as, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and Kanye West just to name a few. He has further expanded his influence in the community as a Radio Personality and through Youth Mentorship Programs. Ever an activist involved within the community, to include but not limited to Educational Youth Support, Non-Profit Organizations, Charities, and StreetLigion LLC. StreetLigion LLC has since become an International Production Company; and opening StreetLigion Studios to further educate Artists/Talent as a Music Academy for all Genres. Despite his fame, Legacy City leads his team with kindness and humility.
==EARLY LIFE==
Legacy City was born Cedric Shondell Bellamy on April 26, 1984 in Columbus, Georgia. At the early age of 6 years old family members recognized Cedric had a unique way with words. By 3rd-grade his talents had evolved and spread to his beyond his neighborhood. When Cedric was 13 years old, his hobby became battle rapping others in the community. As a Freshmen at Central High School, Cedric took journalism courses which would play a major role later in life. Cedric began recording at a young age and performing in different showcases (community centers, churches, prisons) throughout the city, Although Cedric was known for battle rapping in high school; it wouldn’t be until 2006 in Hawaii, he would elevate his artistry. It was then Cedric Bellamy opted The name Legacy. This is when Legacy begin to walk in his purpose as an artist and activist. During this time Cedric served in The United States Army, in the unit 2-27 Wolfhounds or 25th ID. There he met independent producer and NCO Elvin Vega. Vega was the CEO of LegacyTrackz, not to be confuse with Legacy City. In 2013 while stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas, Cedric released the self-titled album “Legacy City.” His debut album went viral on YouTube and Soundcloud, receiving over several million videos and streams.
