Jessica Gomez (_officialbarbiee._ on Instagram) is known to steal money from men on the internet.

There is a new problem arising in North America which involves the proliferation of theft. Our culture seems to be more and more ok with the idea of scamming, ranging from popular movies like “The Wolf Of Wall Street” to rap songs like “Neighborhood Scammer” promoting credit card scams.

An issue that is rarely discussed however, is women duping men into buying them things on the internet and then not delivering their promised return.

In this series we will give a few case studies and examples of methods and schemes used by girls to extract money from people and hopefully will bring light to this problem so people can identify it in the future.

Airplane Ticket Scam: Jessica Gomez, Galveston Texas.

A popular scam these days is to find a man willing to fly you out to see you and hang out with you. Due to social media and the access of women who live in other states or countries, men may bond with a woman and then decide they want to meet up with her and be generous enough to fly them out to their hometown. Many times however, girls will have no intention of comin to meet the man or may decide at a certain point that they do not wat to come anymore.

The problem is that the women might feel entitiled to the money. What some people do not understand is the concept of Misappropitation and Embezzelement. The defintion of Embezzlement is as follows:

“theft or misappropriation of funds placed in one’s trust or belonging to one’s employer.”

Therefore, if a girl decides she does NOT wanna come any longer, she is not entitled to the funds that were sent to her: she was only given the money to book the plane ticket and therfroe should return the money.

In Jessica’s case, she claimed she was going to book the flight but then never did and yet refuses to return the money. She therefore is commititing theft by pocketing money that was entrusted to her for a specific purpose.

Jess originally said she would book the flight

But never booked the flight and then refused to refund

If you know girls personally who are willing to or asking to be flown out be wary and make sure you are dealing with a good person and not a criminal.

Tune in for Part 2 of the series coming soon!
