Robert Jeffery Levy (born October 2, 1994), known professionally as Triple The Mogul, is an American business executive, boxing promoter, rapper, producer and the current NZA champion in the black belt division from Long Island, New York.[1]
Contents
Early life
Triple The Mogul was born in Queens, New York, and moved to Long Island at age 10. He has lived in Modi'in-Maccabim-Re'ut, south of Tel Aviv, for 10 months, from August 2013 to June 2014.[2]
Career
In March 2013, Triple The Mogul released his first mixtape "Madoff Monopoly" which featured his song "Bernie Madoff Familia", a remix to Rick Ross' song B.M.F. [3] [4] Rapper Shyne tweeted about the video. [5] In July 2013, he released his second mixtape "Rich Off My Yichus" which fetaured his song "Hasaybah" [6]. In October 2014, he flew to Miami and scored a meeting with Birdman of Cash Money Records on his tour bus. They began a working relationship for the next year. From there, he was able to develop relationships with many famous rappers and A&R's in the music industry like French Montana, Tyga & Sean Kingston.[7] [8] In August 2015, Triple started a social media company with a couple friends and started focusing his time on business. In 2016 he joined a real estate fund and started swing trading online. He then released a music video for his song "Gold Kippah" which has over 1 Million views on the popular website Worldstar HipHop and other blogs.[9] [10] [11] [12] His instagram page has over 1.2 Million followers and he works with rappers Trill Sammy and Don Q.[13] [14]
Professional Rapper Boxing League
In June 2020 he announced the creation of the "Professional Rapper Boxing League" with Sean Kingston after Kingston began having boxing events at his Hollywood mansion, with the likes of rappers YK Osiris and Lil Tjay taking part.
The pair have personally invested $10 million each and have raised nearly $50 million.[15] [16] [17]
In a statement to Page Six, Sean Kingston said he created the league “to end gun violence in the black community, so rappers can use hands instead of guns to settle their differences.”
The first fight is set to take place in August in an arena in Florida or Mississippi. Levy has not confirmed the location. He said in-person audiences won’t be allowed due to COVID-19, but fights will be streamed on Instagram Live.
