Jacob Daniel Johnson (born July 24, 2000), known professionally as Jayeman, is an American rapper and Marine, from Anderson, Indiana.
Early life
Jayeman was born in Anderson, Indiana, and moved to Katy, Texas at age 12. Jayeman often went back and forth, living in Texas and Indiana. At age 15 he moved back to Anderson where he remained for a few years. He has lived in Oceanside, California since December 10th, 2020.
Career
In March 2021, Jayeman released his first single "Tisk Tisk Tic Toc" which was aimed at his ex who cheated on him. In the same month a couple weeks after, his EP "Jaye-Walking", was based off his experiences in his city. Known for being an "underground" Hip-Hop artist, Jayeman says he's doing his part for himself and that he has no plan on rushing the spotlight.
