Originated/Founded in downtown New Orleans aka Treme neighborhood (6ward) by a YungFella named Mookie (the Chief). Brought up in an environment to the Jazz Capital of the World, Mookie played an instrument (trombone). His father is the Grand Marshall of the second lines in the city & his older brother is the head musician of the TremeFunktet brass band (the music lives on). An environment where the first black american Catholic church Saint Augustine was born & also an environment of drugs, sex, money, murder, dope boys, gangstas, pimps, mac’s & hos, territory safety & protection, trap house, private & public school systems, wealth, poverty, community centers, second lines, bar rooms, musicians, arts, culture & major city life growing up just 2min away from the French Quarter & next to Armstrong park. Unfortunately the chief was murdered in the late 00/01 on the same block he grew up on. He took care of the OG’s who took care of him by handing out dollars to the yungins when they came outside growing up, so he did the same by the ones coming home from the prison system. When was told all woman & children go inside because some shit about to go down.
